There is plenty of good advice out there regarding what shoes the modern, well-dressed man should have in his closet. This article will assume you know all that while we take a look at what not to wear. Not every guy goes to an office every day. That guy may find that a good pair of swim fins gets a lot more use. Most people won’t.
Huaraches
These ghastly sandals with the tire-tread bottoms were left on towels all over SoCal beaches in the Seventies while their owners caught a wave or thirty. The trick to having a perfect-fitting pair of huaraches (were ATCH eez) was to wear them in the ocean ’til they were saturated, then allow them to dry while still on your feet. Blister city!
Cowboy Boots
Unless you’re really a cowboy, with real cows, don’t wear ‘em. Ever.
Platform Disco Shoes
Face it. If you’re five-foot-nothing not even a pair of four-inchers will achieve the look you’re after.
Clogs
If you’re an aging Hippie who lives in a tree you probably don’t have a computer, in which case this article is irrelevant anyway.
